A heavy-duty,internal-cone expanding anchor designed for use with a separate,loose bolt or studding (rod). . This anchor consists of a malleable iron or steel outer shield and an internal expanding cone. Unlike through-bolt anchors,the Rambolt is designed for 'pre-setting,' meaning the shield is installed first,and the bolt is inserted and tightened later. As the bolt is tightened,it draws the cone into the shield,causing it to expand and grip the walls of the drilled hole,creating a robust,deep fixing ideal for heavy loads in challenging substrates.
