Thomas Grahams are long standing members of NASS (National Association of Steel Stockholders) who help in keeping up to date with news, regulations, best practice and general information within the steel stockholding industry. SSIP accreditation for Health & Safety is a recent success for Thomas Grahams as we recognise and accept that as an employer we have a legal duty to provide for the health, both physical and psychological, and safety at work of all its employees.

A proactive approach to assessing risk and implementing control measures will take place to reduce losses suffered as a consequence of occupationally related injuries and ill health. Effective arrangements for planning, monitoring and reviewing preventive and protective measures will be maintained.
Crown Commercial Service Supplier
During 2015 Thomas Grahams were proud to be awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service Framework for Building Material Supplies over the next two years, this will enable us to supply into a wide range of government bodies including schools, universities, the MOD plus many more. Contract’s Director Russell Smith explained “We have worked very hard to encompass a wider range of contract based companies into our portfolio and this success shows that the efforts so far are worthwhile, this is a great opportunity for us and we are very excited about the possibilities now open to us, hopefully this will also enable us to use the experience we gain during this period to improve our products and services to our existing customers too.”

Thomas Grahams are part of the Cumbria Community Foundation, we support this local charity that provide a means by which people and organisations can make a difference to the most disadvantaged people in our community.
