NASS

Thomas Grahams are long standing members of NASS (National Association of Steel Stockholders) who help in keeping up to date with news, regulations, best practice and general information within the steel stockholding industry. NASS members supply steel to UK manufacturing and are a vital link in the supply chain from producer to customer, handling some 8 million tonnes of steel a year, principally to the construction, automotive and engineering industries. SSIP

SSIP accreditation for Health & Safety is a recent success for Thomas Grahams as we recognise and accept that as an employer we have a legal duty to provide for the health, both physical and psychological, and safety at work of all its employees.

Our aim is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees, other persons and learners affected by its activities and services. A proactive approach to assessing risk and implementing control measures will take place to reduce losses suffered as a consequence of occupationally related injuries and ill health. Effective arrangements for planning, monitoring and reviewing preventive and protective measures will be maintained.

 

Cumbria Community Foundation

Thomas Grahams are part of the Cumbria Community Foundation, we support this local charity that provide a means by which people and organisations can make a difference to the most disadvantaged people in our community. Cyber Essentials Plus

Thomas Graham are Cyber Essentials Plus certified. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme launched in 2014 that aims to encourage organisations to cultivate their cybersecurity systems against the most common forms of cyber attack, as well as to provide clarity on proper cybersecurity practice. Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification involving a more rigorous test on an organisation’s cyber security systems to protect against basic hacking and phishing attacks.
