We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic team member who wants to join our fast paced and friendly working environment. This is a full-time permanent, role based at our Egremont branch:
 

Key Areas of the Role:

As the QA Assistant, you will be a key member of our TG Team as we move into our brand-new branch!

You will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality. As a member of the QA Team, you will measure, monitor and improve our quality compliance with external regulations and standards.

As part of your duties, you will conduct inspections, perform tests and document the results. The successful applicant will have a significant contribution in suggesting improvements to our infrastructure and processes to prevent mistakes in the supply chain. You will assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and procedures, ensuring that they are effective at preventing errors in manufacturing or production that lead to product defects.

The ideal candidate will be process driven, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. A basic knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Strong organisational and administrative skills are also required as the role involves maintaining detailed records, managing documentation and supporting the department with day-to-day administrative tasks through the use of Microsoft products.

  • Self-motivated with a customer-first approach
  • Demonstrate initiative and have a logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
     

Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1:30 pm early finish Friday – alternate weeks)
