Corroless S Anti Corrosive Primer - 400ml - Aerosol

Corroless S anti corrosive primer is a high-performance primer containing Corroless rust-stabilising pigment, making it an ideal choice for steelwork where blast cleaning isn’t feasible. It can be applied using a brush, roller, or airless spray, offering excellent surface wetting properties to ensure robust and long-lasting protection. Proven effective for decades on hand-prepared steelwork, the Corroless S resin system is engineered to withstand operating temperatures of up to 200°C. This makes it a superior option for plant and equipment operating at high temperatures where traditional single-pack primers would fail. Typical applications include pipework, bridges, railings, tank exteriors, and mechanical equipment, providing reliable corrosion resistance in demanding environments.

• Designed to penetrate firmly adherent rust
• Ideal for chassis, mechanical equipment, railings, tanks, and structural steel
• Withstands operating temperatures of up to 200°c
• Low gloss finish
• Overcoat with itself and/or Corroless RF16 - if over-coating time exceeds 24 hours and contamination has occurred, clean using a detergent solution/freshwater rinse and allow to dry before continuing
• For thinning use Corroless No.2 Thinners or Universal Xylene Thinners
• Not suitable for use on galvanised steel
