We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic team member who wants to join our fast paced and friendly working environment. This is a full-time role based at our Carlisle branch:
Key Areas of the Role:
You will be an integral part of our busy Warehouse Picking team. You will work with others to complete a variety of tasks such as picking items with a HHT (handheld terminal) to fulfil customers’ orders. You will ensure stock is stored away in the correct bin location and complete stock checking exercises.
As the successful candidate, you should ideally possess some previous warehouse experience, but more importantly be driven to learn new products and processes. Following workplace health and safety rules is essential in this role.
Reality Check:
Due to the nature of the role, this is a manual role where you are on your feet for most of the day and various tasks can be physically demanding and require aspects of manual handling. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is aware and prepared to undertake these duties on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Capable of being organised and working to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative, be motivated, and carry out tasks to completion
- Forklift License is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
Hours of work:
9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 5pm on a Friday (13:00 pm Early Finish Friday – alternate weeks).
